Assessing Neurodivergence in Kids and Adults

Heather earned M.Ed. and Ed.S. degrees from The College of William & Mary’s School Psychology program in 2005 and is licensed by the Ohio Board of Psychology and Ohio Department of Education. She has 20 years of experience as a school psychologist assessing and diagnosing neurodevelopmental and learning disabilities, including ADHD and autism, and has completed over 1,000 comprehensive evaluations. She served school district-wide PreK–12 autism assessment teams, has trained trained and led teams in academic and behavioral interventions. She earned a K-12 Principal License through the Univerity of Colorado in 2008, and as a high school administrator she trained and supervised new teachers, obtained over $500,000 in grants to develop and oversee programming focused on dropout prevention, skills remediation, and developing student leaders. She has conducted hundreds of neurodevelopmental evaluations across school, private-practice, and forensic settings and has provided expert assessment, consultation, and testimony in autism-related legal matters.
